A 20-year-old B Pharma student from Bhodan in Nizamabad, was taken into custody by the Delhi Police’s Special Cell on Wednesday (September 10, 2025) over alleged terror links.

The accused was identified as Mohammad Huzaifa Yemen. His arrest followed the confession of a Jharkhand-based suspect, Danish, who revealed details about a group being formed to unite people under a ‘lashkar’ that could be activated in case of communal unrest.

Senior Nizamabad police officials said that while no weapons were recovered, literature related to arms, including PDF files, was seized from Yemen. The arrest was part of a larger nationwide operation by the Special Cell, which conducted raids in six locations across India, including Mumbai.

Yemen has been remanded to judicial custody, and further investigation is underway.
