598 application seats left for admissions into Class VI in State model schools

The State Model Schools Admission Test 2026 for admissions into Class VI and for vacant seats for Classes VII to X for the academic year 2026-27 are under way.

As of Friday, according to official information, about 95% applications were submitted and about 598 application seats are available. Of the total 8,208 new admission applications available for Class VI, at 100 seats per school, 387 are available for submissions. For Classes VII to X, the seats are as per the vacancy.

The test is scheduled for March 19, 10 a.m. to 12 noon for Class VI students and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for Classes VII to X.

The last date for submission of online applications is February 28. And the applications can be submitted on http://www.tgms.telangana.gov.in/
