Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini, addressing a rally in Gurugram on Tuesday (December 30, 2025), said his government had fulfilled 54 out of the 217 promises made by his party in the Assembly election manifesto last year. He also inaugurated and laid foundation stone of projects worth ₹113.64 crore on the occasion.

Addressing “Viksit Gurugram Maharally”, Mr. Saini said the resolve of his government was “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas”, meaning inclusive development with a collective effort and taking everyone along. He said his government had left behind the previous governments legacy of politics of regionalism and casteism and was working with full dedication on the mantra of “Haryana Ek, Haryanvi Ek”.

Mr. Saini assured no stone would be left unturned in the overall development of Gurugram and continuous and effective steps would be taken to make it the most developed city in the country.

On the occasion, he inaugurated a multi-level car parking facility in Sadar Bazaar built at a cost of ₹55.20 crore and a community centre in Sector-14 costing ₹17.76 crore.

The Chief Minister said during the 11-year tenure of the BJP government, extensive development works worth ₹1,909 crore were carried out in the Gurugram Assembly constituency. Out of 67 announcements made for the area during the last 11 and a half years, 39 were completed and work on 11 was in progress. He said equal importance was being given to environmental conservation along with development, under which small oxygen pockets and parks were being developed in the heart of the city.

Terming pollution as a major challenge, the Chief Minister said efforts were being made to control it through the operation of electric buses and modern waste management techniques. The objective of the government was holistic development, the benefits of which reach beyond roads and buildings to the last person standing at the end, he added.
