At least 10 persons were injured when a NWKRTC bus rammed into a tree near Mabanur Cross in Belagavi district of Karnataka on October 14 night.

The bus was heading from Bengaluru to Athani.

Police officers shifted all the injured persons to the Gokak taluk hospital and other hospitals.

Relatives of the injured complained to the police that ambulances of the Health Department did not respond to their pleas for assistance even though they called the Health Department helpline immediately after the accident around 3 a.m.
