YSRCP SC Cell president and former MLA T. J. R. Sudhakar Babu launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, alleging that his governance is marked by hypocrisy, duplicity, and misuse of the police system.

Addressing the media at the YSRCP central office on Sunday (September 14), Mr. Sudhakar Babu said Mr Naidu’s recent meeting with district SPs revealed his doublespeak. While the media portrayed the CM as directing SPs to uphold law and order, in reality, he instructed them to follow coalition MLAs’ orders. This, he said, exposed the contradiction in his intent.

Mr. Sudhakar Babu charged that  Naidu governments historically thrived on caste clashes and vendetta politics, with Dalits and backward classes being targeted often. He recalled that Mr. Naidu himself once admitted he “thrives on crises,” which, he said, “is why his rule has become synonymous with anarchy.” He cited as examples the attack on an RMP doctor from the backward class community, in Machilipatnam, by Janasena workers, the public remarks by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan calling for assaults on YSRCP supporters, HRD Minister Nara  Lokesh’s derogatory comments against Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and Mr. Naidu’s remarks against Nayee Brahmins.

While no action was taken on the accused in these incidents, cases were filed against victims such as YSRCP leader Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy.

He further alleged that retired officials and YSRCP leaders were falsely implicated in a fabricated liquor scam through a politically motivated SIT. On the policy front, he accused Mr. Naidu of privatising 17 government medical colleges initiated by Mr. Jagan to provide free medical education and healthcare. “Mr. Chandrababu’s governance is built on repression, caste division, and betrayal. People now openly say — ‘We have no faith in you, Dora,’” he added.
