The Nadakkavu police on Monday (September 28, 2026) took into custody YouTuber Aswanth Kok following allegations that he was driving under the influence of alcohol and hit three other vehicles.
The incident occurred near Eranhipalam, where the vehicle allegedly driven by him collided with other vehicles on the road. Residents reportedly stopped the vehicle and alerted the police.
The police reached the spot shortly afterwards and took him into custody. He was subsequently subjected to a medical examination to determine whether he had consumed alcohol while driving.
The police said further action would be taken based on the medical examination report and the findings of the investigation into the accident.
