A resident of RML Nagar in Shivamogga city was allegedly assaulted by three people near Marnamibailu on November 15, Saturday.
Harisha was returning home when they assaulted him. The incident was captured by CCTV cameras. The Doddapete Police registered the case.
Shivamogga Superintendent of Police G.K. Mithun Kumar on Monday informed the media that the accused had been identified and efforts were on to nab them.
Two teams have been formed to nab the accused.
Meanwhile, MLA for Shivamogga S.N. Channabasappa visited the victim’s house in the city on Sunday and interacted with the injured. The legislator alleged that law and order had collapsed in the city.
Mr. Channabasappa visited the police station with the victim and demanded the arrest of the accused.
