Yogi model praised at CII Summit

At the CII Annual Business Summit-2026, industry leaders highly praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership and the transformation seen in Uttar Pradesh. Industrialists, investors, and corporate representatives from across the country said on May 11, 2026, that under Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh has established a new identity in the fields of law and order, investment, infrastructure, and industrial development.

Welcoming Mr. Yogi, CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee said, “Uttar Pradesh has made an exceptional contribution to India’s economic progress in the past few years. Infrastructure has developed rapidly in the state and investment and business activities have gained new momentum under the leadership of CM Yogi.”

Mr. Banerjee added that manufacturing, logistics, digital governance, urban development, and youth empowerment have given Uttar Pradesh a new direction.

CII President Rajiv Memani said, “Uttar Pradesh has witnessed a phenomenal transformation in the last few years and the industry now views the state from a completely different perspective.”

Addressing the CM, Mr. Memani further added, “Industrialists from India and abroad now want to invest in Uttar Pradesh, and with his guidance and support, this path will become even stronger.”

At the same time, he also praised the Yogi government’s law and order situation and administrative functioning.

During the event, projects such as the Purvanchal Expressway, Bundelkhand Expressway, Ganga Expressway, and Jewar International Airport were specially highlighted. Memani said that these projects have completely transformed connectivity and industrial opportunities in Uttar Pradesh.

He added that people’s perception of UP changes completely when they travel through the state.

The summit also praised cultural and religious initiatives such as Ayodhya, the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, and Mahakumbh. Speakers said that the successful organisation of Mahakumbh is an example of Uttar Pradesh’s administrative capability and efficient management of large-scale events.
