At the North Tech Symposium-2026, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reviewed the defence exhibition and appreciated the country’s emerging indigenous defence capabilities. In the three-day event, advanced technologies and equipment developed in accordance with the requirements of modern warfare were extensively showcased, clearly reflecting the participation of the Army, industry and start-ups.

During the exhibition, the Chief Minister closely inspected bulletproof jackets, tactical gear, advanced helmets and military equipment developed for multi-terrain operations. On this occasion, he obtained information about the technical features from experts and discussed the utility of the products.

Innovations such as the ‘head-to-boot’ protection system, clothing designed for extremely adverse temperatures and modular protection systems were particularly the centre of attraction.

The technologies displayed at the symposium also included drones, smart surveillance systems, communication equipment and AI-based solutions developed for the future battlefield. This event indicates that India is now strengthening its preparedness beyond traditional warfare towards multi-domain warfare, including cyber, space and the electronic spectrum.

The participation of a large number of MSMEs, start-ups and defence companies in the exhibition has strengthened the goals of ‘Make in India’ and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

At the closing, the group photograph featuring the joint presence of military officers, industry representatives and policymakers indicates that future warfare will not be determined solely by weapons, but by technology, innovation and collaboration, and this platform in Prayagraj is proving to be an important step in that direction.
