Woman sets male friend ablaze in Bengaluru, arrested

A 27-year-old woman was taken into custody by the Byadarahalli Police Station Police for allegedly burning her boyfriend alive at her residence in Anjananagar on Tuesday afternoon (April 21, 2026).

The victim, Kiran, 27, had arrived at the accused Prerna’s house around 2 p.m. after she had invited him over. Both were employees at a telecom company and had been in a relationship for nearly two years.
