Woman dies after being hit by express train near Ghatkesar

An unidentified woman was killed after being struck by an express train while crossing the railway track near the Ghatkesar-Yamnampet Outer Ring Road (ORR) bridge on the down line on December 14, police said.

According to the Secunderabad Government Railway Police (GRP), the incident was reported before 10 a.m. when the woman attempted to cross the track and was hit by train number 12757, Kaghaznagar SF Express. She died on the spot due to the impact.

The woman is said to be aged between 40 and 45 years. Her identity has not yet been established.
