Webinar on stroke prevention to be held on October 28

Kauvery Hospital, in collaboration with The Hindu, is presenting a webinar on stroke prevention as part of a wellness series.

The webinar titled “Stroke Awareness: Recognize the Signs. Respond in Time.” will be held on October 28 at 11:30 a.m., marking World Stroke Day (October 29).

The session aims at creating awareness on recognising the early signs of stroke, the need for immediate medical attention, and preventive steps to reduce risk. Experts will also discuss treatment options and lifestyle measures for better brain health.

The panel will feature K. Subramaniyan, clinical lead and senior consultant, Neurology, Kauvery Hospital, Radial Road, Chennai; K. Madhusuthan, consultant, Neurosurgery, Kauvery Hospital, Cantonment, Trichy; and Dhivya Selvaraj, consultant, Neurology & Neurosciences, Kauvery Hospital, Salem. The session will be moderated by Soma Basu, journalist.
