As part of the ongoing Health Webinar series, The Hindu will conduct an exclusive subscriber-only session on Sunday (November 9, 2025) on the topic, ‘Does stress impact fertility in young people?’ The webinar will be held at 11 a.m.

This session will explore the complex relationship between stress and fertility, examining how the pressures of modern life — including demanding work cultures, financial concerns, social expectations, and the pursuit of “perfect timing” — can influence reproductive health in both men and women. The discussion will also focus on how chronic stress affects hormonal balance, reproductive cycles, and overall fertility outcomes, as well as preventive and clinical approaches that can support reproductive wellness.

Expert panellists include: Dakshayani D., head of Varam IVF, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, MGM Healthcare, Chennai, and Sanjay Prakash J., consultant microsurgical andrologist and urologist, Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology, Chennai. The session will be moderated by Athira Elssa Johnson, Senior Reporter, The Hindu.
