On Friday morning, AIADMK general secretary and the Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K. Palaniswami, who was back in Salem, had a busy schedule. As he was getting ready to resume his campaign in different places of the district during the day, he spoke to The Hindu on a host of issues. He was hopeful of his party forming a government of its own and said the verdict would establish it. Edited excerpts:
