Sub-Inspector K. Vikrama Rao selected for the President of India’s Medal for Meritorious Service.

Vizianagaram District Police Training Center’s Sub-Inspector Kamavarapu Vikrama Rao has been selected for the President of India’s ‘Medal for Meritorious Service’ on the 77th Republic Day celebrations.
With 30 years of working in the force, Mr. Vikram received the recognition for working efficiently in extremist areas across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
He has spearheaded several charitable and sports activities such as development of a children’s park in Parvatipuram, karate coaching center, holding medical camps, eye and organ donation programmes at different places.
Mr. Vikram has previously received the A.P. Police Seva Pathakam Athi Utkrista medal from the Union Home Ministry, apart from awards from different organisations. He was also elected unanimously as president of the A.P. Police Welfare Association, Vizianagaram district and State vice president of the association.
