VIT Chancellor receives Lifetime achievement award

The Founder and Chancellor of Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), G. Viswanathan, was conferred with the lifetime achievement award by former Union Minister for Education Murli Manohar Joshi at a function in New Delhi on Friday.

According to a press release, the award was given at the eighth Annual Conclave Federation of World Academics (FWA) held in New Delhi. On the occasion, senior academic leaders from leading Government and private institutions in the country were present, the release said.
