Vice-President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan will visit Sri Narayani Peedam, also known as the Golden Temple in Thirumalaikodi village on the outskirts of Vellore Corporation limits on January 3 (Saturday).
Police said that security arrangements will be made around the temple premises. Around 150 police personnel will be deployed during the visit. Operation of drones and other non-conventional aerial objects will be prohibited.
As per plan, the police said Mr. Radhakrishnan will reach the temple by helicopter from Chennai. He will visit the temple premises, including a meditation centre, during his hour-long stay there before returning to Chennai.
Mr. Radhakrishan’s visit comes after President Droupadi Murmu, who visited the temple on December 17.
