Veteran Congress leader Mamukkoya passes away

P.K. Mamukkoya, 78, senior Congress leader and a four-term councillor in the Kozhikode Corporation, passed away on Sunday (October 5).

He represented wards such as Malaparamba, Karaparamba, and Vengeri, and was the party leader in the council. Mr. Mamukkoya had also been the vice-president and secretary of the Kozhikode District Congress Committee and a member of the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee. He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter.
