Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) founder Thol. Thirumavalavan, on Tuesday (April 14, 2026), released the party’s manifesto ahead of the April 23 Assembly election in Tamil Nadu.

Addressing journalists in Chennai, Mr. Thirumavalavan said the party would promote the two-language formula, protection of natural resources, separate law against caste-based murders, health as fundamental right, 50% reservations for women, reservations according to population, land to the tiller, and push for reforms in the police force and uniformed services, among other things.
