The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the provisional results of the second round of seat allotment for admission to medical and dental courses on Friday.

Of the total 12,010 medical seats, 11,626 seats have been allotted, leaving 384 seats vacant, all of which are in the management quota.

However, in the dental (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) course, all 2,689 seats have been allotted.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in both the All India Quota and in KEA counselling can choose Choice-4 by 5 p.m. on September 14, if they wish to take admission through the All India Quota seat and exit the KEA counselling process, said KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna.

The seats that become vacant due to candidates opting for Choice-4 will be considered in the second round. KEA will then conduct a rerun of the seat allotment and announce the final results.
