The Command and Control Centre monitors round the clock the amount of rainfall in different parts of the city, vehicle movement in subways through surveillance cameras, water levels in canals, and the situation at estuaries. Necessary actions are being taken based on this continuous monitoring, according to a press release.

Mr. Udhayanidhi reviewed the complaints received through the 1913 helpline and social media and the actions taken on them. He also reviewed whether the complaints were immediately forwarded to the respective Greater Chennai Corporation officials in the areas concerned and addressed on time.
