Two young women S. Keerthana (26) and M. Nivethitha (23) suffered injuries when they tried to jump out of the moving train at Ramanathapuram railway station in the early hours of Wednesday (April 15, 2026).

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Tamil Nadu Railway Police (TRP) personnel found one of the woman lying in an unconscious state on platform one at around 3.20 a.m.
