Two-day YUKTI 2026 at VTU in Kalaburagi starting Friday

The Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) Regional Centre in Kalaburagi will organise a two-day “Regional-Level Techno-Management-Cultural Fest YUKTI 2026” starting Friday.

Chief Coordinator of the Fest Basavaraj Gadgay and member of the VTU executive council Mahantesh Koulgi, addressing presspersons here on Sunday, said that the event will be inaugurated by president of the Gurdwara Sri Nanak Jhira Sahib Foundation, Bidar, Sardar Balbir Singh, along with chairman of KKRTC, Kalaburagi, Arunkumar M.Y. Patil.

The programme will be presided over by vice-chancellor of VTU, Belagavi, S. Vidyashankar.

The two-day techno-management-cultural fest will feature a wide range of activities, including technical competitions such as Robo Race, Coding, Ideathon, Quiz and Model Making, along with management events like Best Manager, Marketing and Start-up challenges.

Cultural and artistic events such as singing, dancing, ramp walk, photography, painting and gaming activities will also be held, making it a comprehensive platform for student talent.

Famous singers, including Rajesh Krishnan, Shamitha Malnad, Shivani Swamy, Sabri Brothers and Savaari-the fusion band, will perform during the two cultural events in the evening.

MLC and president of Hyderabad Karnataka Education Society Shashil Namoshi and Kalaburagi North MLA Kaneez Fatima will be the chief guests for the valedictory function.
