Two-day cell therapy conclave to begin at KMC Manipal from October 30

MANGALURU

Kasturba Medical College (KMC) and the Department of Biotherapeutics Research (DBR), both constituent units of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), will host the second edition of the Cell Therapy Conclave for two days at Dr. T.M.A. Pai Auditorium in Manipal from October 30, 2025.

The event will bring together leading scientists, clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals from across the country to discuss breakthroughs, share research, and explore how regenerative medicine is transforming the way of treating a disease.

The conclave will highlight recent advances in cellular therapeutics, gene editing, and biotherapeutic innovation, with an emphasis on bridging the gap between bench research and bedside application. The conference includes keynote talks, expert sessions, and discussions that encourage collaboration between academia, clinical practice, and biotechnology industries, a release from KMC, Manipal said.

Expert speakers

Renowned experts from across India will share their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of regenerative medicine.

Exprert speakers will include Akhil Kumar, Chief Medical Officer, Aurigene Oncology, Bengaluru; Vikram Mathews, Director, CMC, Vellore; Maneesha Inamdar, Director, BRIC-inStem & Professor, JNCASR, Bengaluru; Rahul Purwar, Founder & CEO, ImmunoACT; Dinesh Kundu, CEO, EastOcyon Bio; and Abheek Kar, an Orthopaedician.

The conference will also provide young researchers and students with an opportunity to present posters, share innovative ideas, and engage with experts through open discussions and networking sessions.

Participation is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty, researchers, and medical professionals. Registration is free but mandatory, and all participants will receive e-certificates.
