TVK’s Ramkumar wins Anna Nagar constituency

The Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam’s (TVK) V.K. Ramkumar has won the Anna Nagar constituency by a margin of around 22,000 votes. He defeated the DMK’s N. Chitrarasu and the AIADMK’s Gokula Indira.

Speaking to The Hindu, he said his immediate priority would be to improve basic civic amenities in the constituency. On meeting party leader C. Joseph Vijay later in the day, he said instructions from the party high command were expected soon.
