The Tamil Nadu Government has appointed Layola Mani as the Chairman of the Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation. He is the deputy secretary of the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK)’s propaganda wing.
According to the government order, he will hold the post for three years from the date of his appointment.

The Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation supplies books and literature on all subjects in multiple languages for schools in the State, with the objective of providing quality textbooks at affordable prices to school students on time.
The corporation carries on business as a publisher, printer, seller as well as a distributor.
