The Hyderabad Traffic Police on January 31 issued a traffic advisory in connection with a Special Investigation Team investigation scheduled at Nandi Nagar in Banjara Hills on February 1, in connection with a probe involving former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.

According to the advisory, traffic diversions and stoppages will be implemented on a need basis from 11 a.m. in and around Nandi Nagar and surrounding areas. Vehicles may be stopped or diverted at Nandi Nagar bus stop, Nandi Nagar Welfare Association building, JC Reddy Chicken Centre, Union Bank bylane, Basavatarakam Rotary, Agrasen Junction, TS Study Circle, NTR Bhavan, MRC Kamaan on Road No. 12 and Sagar Society T-junction.

Commuters have been advised to follow traffic updates through the Hyderabad Traffic Police social media platforms and take alternate routes to avoid congestion. In case of emergencies, the traffic police helpline 9010203626 can be contacted for travel assistance. The advisory was issued by D. Joel Davis, Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Hyderabad, who appealed to citizens to cooperate with traffic personnel during the diversions.
