Thunderstorm forecast in 18 Telangana districts on October 1

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a thunderstorm alert for 18 Telangana districts on Wednesday, October 1.

According to IMDs latest bulletin, thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad and Sangareddy districts.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surroundings for the next 24 hours will see partly cloudy sky. “Light rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in parts of the city. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 30 and 22 degrees C, respectively,” the bulletin said.
