Thrissur fireworks unit blast: Kerala CMO says three more bodies identified

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s office said on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) that the district authorities in Thrissur have identified the bodies of three more persons killed in the explosion at a fireworks manufacturing unit at Mundathikode on Tuesday (April 21, 2026).

The CMO said the bodies of Sudharshanan, 54, a resident of Vennur; Vasudevan, 54, a resident of Kalloor in Palakkad; and Suvin, 39, a resident of Kundanoor in Thrissur, have been identified.
