Three men died and one sustained serious injuries in a collision between two motorcycles on the Outer Ring Road service lane in Harshaguda on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Konda Arun, 23, a mason and resident of Hanuman Nagar, Rajendranagar, Eslavath Mohan, 18, a school bus cleaner, and Ramavath Siddu, 18, an intermediate student, both residents of Harshaguda village of Maheshwaram.
The injured, identified as Eslavath Simhadri, 17, a diploma student, also a resident of Harshaguda, was shifted to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
The accident was reported around 6.30 a.m. when Arun was travelling to his paternal uncle’s residence in Pedda Golconda on his two-wheeler. The vehicle crashed into another motorcycle coming from the opposite direction riden by three youths from Harshaguda village.
Arun, Mohan and Siddu died on the spot due to the impact of the collision and their bodies were taken to Osmania General Hospital for postmortem examination.
The Pahadishareef police registered a case and initiated investigation.
