Avatihall is one of four heritage stations in — the others being Doddajala, Devanahalli, and Nandi, along the KSR Bengaluru-Chikaballapur-Kolar railway line, which have recently been restored by the Bengaluru chapter of INTACH.
Now, it houses a small museum dedicated to telling visitors the origin story of a fabric deeply ingrained in Indian culture, rituals, and traditions: silk.
