‘Thaai Kizhavi’ trailer: Radikaa Sarathkumar promises a hilarious and thought-provoking comedy

The trailer of the upcoming Tamil comedy drama, Thaai Kizhavi, starring Radikaa Sarathkumar, was unveiled by the makers on Monday (February 23). Directed by Sivakumar Murugesan and produced by Sivakarthikeyan, the film is set to release in theatres on Friday, February 27.

In the trailer, we are introduced to Radikaa’s Pavunuthaayi, an elderly woman in a rural village who refuses to share her properties with her legal heirs until she dies. And so when she falls sick, her many heirs surround her like vultures, waiting for her imminent death, and this is where the unthinkable happens — they realise that Pavunuthaayi has a secret, priceless property hidden somewhere safe, the location of which only she knows. And so the ones who prayed for her death begin to pray for her recovery. A hilarious and chaotic story begins.

Thaai Kizhavi also features Singam Puli, Arul Doss, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Ilavarasu, George Maryan, Muthukumar, and Raichal Rabecca, among others.

With music scored by Nivas K Prasanna, the film has cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar and editing by San Lokesh. Sivakarthikeyan and Sudhan Sundaram produce the film under their Sivakarthikeyan Productions and Passion Studios banners.

Notably, it was recently announced that Sivakumar Murugesan will next helm Sivakarthikeyan in the upcoming film Seyon. The film is produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran under the Raaj Kamal Films International banner.
