Tension prevailed in Muthojipet village near Narsampet town in Warangal district on Friday (April 24, 2026) after a large number of striking Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) employees staged a road blockade, demanding that the mortal remains of deceased driver K. Shankar Goud be taken to the Narsampet bus depot for last rites and homage.

Following the driver’s death, the RTC JAC has called for a bandh across the erstwhile Warangal district, further intensifying the agitation.
