People pulled out quilts and thick blankets as temperatures in Telangana began to dip. The lowest minimum temperature of 10.2°C was recorded in Rudrangi of Rajanna Sircilla, according to Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS) data recorded from Sunday (November 9, 2025) to Monday morning (8.30 a.m.). In Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits, 13.4°C was recorded at the BHEL factory.

Lowest temperatures less than 11°C was recorded in Adilabad and Kumaram Bheem too. Altogether, 25 districts recorded 15°C or less than that. The lowest temperatures across the State was not more than 16.1°C. While the weather was relatively cold in the evening, the temperatures dropped in the night and continued to be so till early morning. The sun in the morning made the day warm.

TGDPS’s senior weather consultant, Y Rama Rao, said at the end of October that weather could get colder from the third week of November, with peak winter in December.
