Heavy rainfall forecast was issued for 12 Telangana districts for Thursday (September 25, 2025). India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its latest bulletin has stated that heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to prevail at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. Mist or hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning and night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 29 and 22 respectively,” as per the bulletin.
