The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning in 13 Telangana districts for Sunday, September 21.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall warning for 13 Telangana districts for Sunday (September 21, 2025).

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancheiral, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar districts. Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in all 33 districts of the State.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see generally cloudy sky. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds are very likely to occur in the city. Mist of hazy conditions are very likely to prevail during morning and night hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 32 and 22 respectively,” the bulletin said.
