The Telangana government would aggressively promote the Telangana Rising 2047 vision at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos in 2026, with a clear focus on achieving the ambitious goal of transforming Telangana into a USD 3 trillion economy, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said.
The WEF annual meeting, themed ‘A Spirit of Dialogue’, is scheduled to be held from January 19 to 23, 2026. The Chief Minister reviewed the investment proposals and commitments received during the State’s last two visits to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, as well as those secured at the recent Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025.
He said said the Telangana Rising delegation would present the State’s transformative roadmap to global investors, highlighting its three-pronged economic growth strategy and building on Telangana’s strengths as one of the most developed States in the country.
The Telangana Rising delegation, he said, would focus on targeted engagements and investor outreach at Davos, pitching the State’s long-term development plans as outlined in the Telangana Rising vision document. The government aims to leverage the global platform to attract high-quality investments that can accelerate economic growth, generate employment and strengthen Telangana’s position as a global investment destination.
Mr. Reddy asked officials to closely re-examine and follow up on the investment commitments made during earlier Davos visits and the Telangana Rising Global Summit. He instructed them to proactively engage with investors and ensure that any pending issues or procedural hurdles were resolved at the earliest to translate commitments into on-ground investments.
