The Telangana government is planning a series of reforms aimed at strengthening medical tourism and improving healthcare access, including better international connectivity to Hyderabad and faster immigration procedures for patients arriving for treatment, said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday.

Speaking after inaugurating the 25th branch of Medicover Hospitals in Kokapet here, he said Telangana attracts 8-10 lakh patients from different States every year for medical care, while around 2 lakh patients from foreign countries also visit the State for treatment.
