The Telangana Board of Intermediate (BIE) on Tuesday said it has kept the circular on admission schedule for the academic year 2026-27, issued on Monday, in abeyance. The May 4 circular, in addition to announcing the date of commencement of classes as June 1, included detailed instructions to principals of various colleges in the State. As per that circular, the date of commencement of admissions was May 8 and classes were to begin on June 1. However, in a fresh communication, it said the circular was being kept in abeyance “in view of certain proposed reforms” and that “revised instructions will be issued shortly”.
