Telugu Desam Party State president Palla Srinivasa Rao said that the blood donation camp organised as part of the party’s 44th Foundation Day observances in Kuwait received overwhelming response. He commended party workers for coming forward in large numbers with a spirit of service and described their participation as a reflection of the party’s enduring values.

Speaking on the occasion, he noted that the 44th Foundation Day celebrations of the party, founded by the late Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao with a commitment to social justice for the marginalised and underprivileged, would be observed with enthusiasm across the globe. The celebrations are set to take place in nearly 90 countries, spanning continents from the United States to Australia, with dedicated programmes planned in 25 cities across the U.S.

Despite prevailing geopolitical tensions, party cadres in Gulf nations, as well as in Europe, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Malaysia, several African countries, Australia and New Zealand, are actively participating in the commemorations, he said.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that the Telugu diaspora and party workers abroad continue to carry forward the ideals of NTR. This stands as a testament to the party’s expanding reach and the enduring faith it commands, he said, noting that the philosophy of self-respect championed by NTR has taken firm root both within the country and beyond.

Mr Srinivasa Rao said that under the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the organisation is gaining renewed strength, while the efforts of IT Minister Nara Lokesh in promoting young leadership are injecting fresh dynamism into the party. He expressed confidence that the confluence of experience and youthful energy would shape a more robust future for the party.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao appreciated Gulf Empowerment Coordinator Kudaravalli Sudhakar Rao, NRI TDP Cell and AP NRT President Ravi Vemuru, NRI TDP Central Office Coordinator Chappidi Rajasekhar, and NRI TDP Gulf Council President Ravi Radhakrishna for their role in ensuring the success of the initiative.
