MLC and Government Chief Whip Panchumarthi Anuradha has alleged that a documentary released by a YouTube channel had exposed the “criminal history” of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, and said the track record of more leaders who were close associates of party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be made public soon. Ms. Anuradha said this vindicated the Telugu Desam Party’s stand that the YSRCP was full of leaders with links to criminals.
“The case of Kollam Gangi Reddy, a red sanders smuggler and a loyalist of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, was revealed by the YouTube channel in its report titled ‘Planet Killers: The Forest Destroyer’. He was also a prime accused in the murder of Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy,” Ms. Anuradha told reporters at the TDP central office near Mangalagiri on Wednesday (May 6, 2026).
Ms. Anuradha said Gangi Reddy was an influential leader in Kadapa district and an accused in the 2003 Alipiri claymore mine attack on N. Chandrababu Naidu.
