The AIADMK’s candidate for the Anna Nagar constituency, S. Gokula Indira, believes that the people of Tamil Nadu want a change in governance. Speaking to The Hindu in the midst of her election campaign at Kilpauk, Ms. Indira, who has been a Rajya Sabha MP and Minister in former Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa’s Cabinet in 2011, shared her views about anti-incumbency, development, and issues facing the Anna Nagar constituency. Edited excerpts below:
