T.N. government transfers several IAS officers, appoints Sajjansingh R. Chavan as Secretary to Governor

The Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday transferred several Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and appointed Sajjansingh R. Chavan, who was Secretary to the Youth Welfare and Sports Development Department, as Secretary to the Governor.

According to multiple orders issued by the government, Rashmi Siddharth Zagade, former Chennai District Collector, has been posted as Special Secretary to the Higher Education Department. Har Sahay Meena, Principal Secretary and Vice-Chairman of Science City, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Land Reforms.

Ajay Yadav, Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Limited, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Milk Production and Dairy Development. He will also function as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (Aavin).

J. Vijaya Rani, Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director of Horticulture and Plantation Crops, replacing P. Kumaravel Pandian, who has been posted as Member-Secretary of the State Planning Commission. P. Rathinasamy, former Ariyalur Collector, has been posted as Director of Technical Education, replacing S. Visakan, who has been posted as Vice-Chairman of Science City.

R. Sukumar, former Tirunelveli District Collector, has been posted as Director of Stationery and Printing, while A. John Louis, Director of Milk Production and Dairy Development and Director of the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers’ Federation Limited (Aavin), has been transferred and posted as Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Warehousing Corporation.

T. Anbalagan, formerly Director of Sugar and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Sugar Corporation Limited, has been appointed as Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Tamil Nadu Maritime Board. J.U. Chandrakala, former Ranipet Collector, has been posted as Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Cements Corporation Limited.

V. Sivakrishnamurthy, Deputy Commissioner (Works), Greater Chennai Corporation, has been posted as Joint Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board. R. Anamika, Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration, has been posted as Joint Managing Director of the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board.

Ranjeet Singh, formerly Theni Collector, has been posted as Tenkasi Collector, while Durga Moorthi, former Namakkal Collector, has been posted as Dindigul Collector.
