In an incident that reflects efficiency, integrity, and people-centric policing, the Navghar Police Station successfully solved a theft case and recovered stolen valuables within just 12 hours of the complaint being registered.
The case involved a domestic helper who was working as a nurse at the residence of an educational institute owner in Bhayandar East. The accused was found guilty of stealing a gold mangalsutra and cash amounting to ₹20,000, violating the trust placed in her by the household.
As soon as the complaint was received, the Navghar Police took immediate cognisance of the matter. Under the supervision of the police inspector, a special team was swiftly formed to investigate the case. Through alert inquiry, coordinated fieldwork, and timely action, the police were able to trace and recover the stolen gold mangalsutra in a remarkably short span of time.
A vital role in solving the case was played by Sampat C Aher, Police Sub-Inspector at Navghar Police Station, along with his dedicated team.
