Swell surges alert for Keralam coast from September 26 to 28

The Keralam coast has been put on alert for swell waves from early Saturday morning (September 26, 2026) to early Monday morning (September 28, 2026). In a late evening update on Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) warned of swell surges along the coast with wave heights ranging from 1 metre to 1.5 metres between 2.30 a.m. on Saturday to 2.30 a.m. on Monday. The public has been advised not to ply small vessels along the coast.
