The Rajendranagar police conducted surprise inspections on 39 farmhouses across Mudimyal and Tolkatta villages on the night of November 1 and the early hours of November 2, uncovering several violations, including illegal liquor consumption, unauthorised events and hookah use.

The checks were carried out under the supervision of DCP Rajendranagar Yogesh Goutam, along with local police teams.

At Azeemuddin Farmhouse in Tolkatta village, police found guests consuming hookah. At Pranava Villa Hills, 18 beer bottles and one full bottle of whisky were seized for excise violations. A separate raid at ‘12 Farm’ in Tolkatta village revealed an unauthorised ticketed party with 29 men and women, loud music, fireworks, and used liquor bottles of whisky, rum, vodka, wine and breezers strewn across the premises. Drug tests conducted on attendees returned negative results.

In Mudimyal village, hookah was also found inside a vehicle. Another major violation was detected at Rithika Farmhouse, where about 150 students of Slate School had gathered without permission for an event that included an unauthorised sound system and liquor consumption by a few participants.

Parallel to the farmhouse checks, vehicle inspections were carried out at Tolkatta by Special Operations Team (SOT) and traffic police personnel. A total of 120 four-wheelers, 30 three-wheelers, and 15 two-wheelers were checked, resulting in three drunk-driving cases, three vehicles being detained and ₹30,000 collected in fines.

Police have registered four cases against the organisers and farmhouse owners involved in the violations.

Authorities have cautioned all farmhouse owners to obtain prior police permission for hosting events. If alcohol is served, separate approval from the Excise Department is mandatory. The DCP warned that stringent legal action would follow against any management found flouting these norms.
