State revenue awards announced: Arjun Pandian Named Best Collector, Thiruvananthapuram Best Collectorate

The State Revenue and Survey Awards have been announced, with Thrissur District Collector Arjun Pandian selected as the Best District Collector and the Thiruvananthapuram Collectorate adjudged the Best Collectorate. The awards were declared by Revenue Minister K. Rajan while addressing the media in Thrissur on Saturday.

O.V. Alfred (Thiruvananthapuram) was named Best Sub-Collector, while G. Suresh Babu of Punalur in Kollam district was chosen as the Best Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO). The RDO Office, Thrissur, was selected as the Best Revenue Divisional Office.

Among Deputy Collectors, K. Sunilkumar (Palakkad) was selected as Best Deputy Collector (General), P.A. Vibhushanan (Thrissur) as Best Deputy Collector (Revenue Recovery), C. Premji (Alappuzha) as Best Deputy Collector (Disaster Management), and R. Sudheesh (Alappuzha) as Best Deputy Collector (Land Reforms).

Awards will also be presented to officials across various posts in the Survey and Land Records Department, as well as to Village Offices and district administrations. The awards will be distributed at a function to be held in Thiruvananthapuram on February 24, marking Revenue Day.

The Minister also announced that a Digital Revenue Card, designed to store all land-related records in an ATM card format, will be launched on the same day. The card will contain comprehensive land details of residents in villages where digital resurvey has been completed.
