State Planning Commission organises CSR conclave

The Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission (SPC), through its apex institutions — the State Institution for Transformation and the Centre for Innovation in Governance — organised the Tamil Nadu CSR Conclave 2025 in Chennai. J. Jeyaranjan, Executive Vice Chairman of the SPC, inaugurated the event. He said the CSR must play a catalytic role in amplifying the State’s development spending by supporting targeted, measurable interventions on the ground, and urged corporates to move beyond Chennai and channel their efforts towards other districts.

A compendium titled “Converging for Impact: CSR–CSO Partnerships for Inclusive Development in Tamil Nadu” was released during the Conclave.
