In the wake of extreme heat wave in the State, the government has decided to conduct the Telangana Formation Day celebrations on June 2 from 8.30 am to 10 am.
The celebrations, including hoisting the national flag, would be completed by 10 am as per the directions of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, according to officials. This is to ensure that those attending the event are not inconvenienced due to the sweltering heat.
