Vice-Chancellor of SRM University-AP Ch. Satish Kumar on Wednesday emphasised the growing importance of integrating domain knowledge with emerging technologies.

Speaking to the media after the formal launch of AI-integrated M.Sc. Economics and M.Sc. Psychology programmes by the Easwari School of Liberal Arts (ESLA) at the university, Prof. Satish Kumar said the future belongs to those who combine strong domain expertise with AI capabilities. Whether in economics or psychology, understanding the discipline alone is no longer sufficient, students must also be equipped to apply AI tools for analysis, prediction, and decision-making, he said. He added that the university is among the first to introduce this level of integration in postgraduate education to prepare students for real-world challenges and future uncertainties.
